ICA
The building features
a dramatic cantilever that extends over the public harbor walkway creating an
open yet sheltered space. The top floor façade projecting to the water’s edge
is glazed with Pilkington’s point supported planar insulating glass wall
system with structural glass fins. Rough cast channel glass is the glazing
feature on the other facades of the top floor. The lower floors are glazed with
alternating panels of low-e silk-screened I.G. units, low-e vision I.G. units
and composite panels all set in a custom curtain wall system.
We at Karas are proud to have been chosen by the general contractor, the George B.H. Macomber firm, to be the sub-contractor for the Pilkington all glass-wall system, the channel glass, the I.G. units, the composite panels and the curtain wall system. In addition, we take great pride in this dynamic ICA project and our team of project managers and installers.
